"From
South Africa to "The Big Apple"... New York City
I
was born into hardship under the dark cloud of Apartheid, in Cape
Town, South Africa. By the guidance of my parents, Leslie &
Joan de Jongh...and
my unmovable faith in God, I have learned to further understand
my spirituality and humanity to achieve “Self Success” through
faith, love, hope, humility, truth, valor, respect and compassion.
Despite
the suffering endured by a people, I lived to partake in our first
Democratic election in 1994 before spreading my wings. Although
it will take some time to repair our broken past, we are hopeful
of the future. To
experience Africa's majestic beauty and undiscovered splendor,
you need to visit South Africa...especially the 'Mother City'...Cape
Town.
Besides
being am a Motivatinal Speaker, Life Coach and author of various
genre, my writing style primarily focus on Japanese novella set
in pre modern Japan. The stories are not of my own, for I act
as "Reibai" or spirit medium, something understood by
many cultures.
Intrigued
by the martial arts since a young age, I studied under many
teachers and masters in their art forms. I became the founder
of the art Touhkondo, and today teach practitioners 16th century
swordsmanship, unarmed combat, weaponry and Iso-Philosophy.
After
many years in New York, I have now returned to South Africa to
teach and share my experiences and wisdom with All, but foremost
to help the needy thru various humanitarian-, skills development
& employment initiatives.
Two
of my core philosophies are leading by example & giving back
to the community, with special focus on uplifting the underprivileged
and feeding the hungry. I believe that success is collective rather
than individual. Keeping with this philosophy, my wife and I established
various partnerships with existing NGO's in South Africa and the
United States.
